The New Zealand Government offers investor business migration visas for individuals wanting to gain residence in New Zealand by investing in our economy.

There are two categories of investor business migration visas – one for those who plan to invest a minimum of NZ$3 million over four years, or, an option with fewer approval criteria for those investing $NZ10 million or more over three years. There are also criteria in place to further recognise and reward higher levels of business experience, English language skills and growth-oriented investments.
While these visas come with mandatory minimum days spent in the country, this can be reduced by investing in assets other than Bonds and Philanthropic Investment. There are also some restrictions around what is considered an ‘acceptable investment’.
